Throughout his career, Mr. Panjwani has delivered creative and practical solutions to difficult engineering problems, especially in information security and data networking. Mr. Panjwani has over fifteen years of experience in engineering management, product management, and technology development with a primary focus on information security and data networking. He holds or has filed for ten patents in information security, VPN, TCP/IP, and compiler technologies.
Mr. Panjwani was Director of Product Management and Protocol Architecture for Maple before founding Blue Lane. Prior to Maple, he was the Network Security Architect for Cosine Communications, responsible for firewall, VPN, and intrusion detection technologies. Prior to Cosine Communications he was an architect and developer for Cisco Systems, where he worked on various network and security technologies. He also worked on compiler technologies at Mentor Graphics before joining Cisco Systems.
Mr. Panjwani holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California Irvine, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California Berkeley.
Dr. Elgamal is the CTO of Tumbleweed. He was a founder of Securify, Inc. after serving as Chief Scientist at Netscape Communications where he pioneered SSL, the standard for web security. Prior to Netscape, he was the Director of Engineering at RSA Data Security, Inc. While there, he built and ran the engineering department that developed the RSA cryptographic toolkits, the industry standards for security-enabled applications and systems development.
A recognized leader and frequent spokesman in the information security industry, Dr. Elgamal has made numerous, substantial contributions to the industry. These include development of the original public key cryptography and digital signature technology. He invented the Elgamal cryptography technology later adopted by NIST as the digital signature standard (DSS). He also participated in the 'SET' credit card payment protocol, plus a number of Internet payment schemes. In addition to his responsibilities as CTO & Board Member of Tumbleweed, he also serves on the board of directors of Phoenix Technologies.
Dr. Elgamal received his Masters and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Mr. Kim is the CTO and co-founder of Tripwire, Inc. In 1992, he co-authored Tripwire while at Purdue University with Dr. Gene Spafford. Although he is widely published on computer security, operating systems and networking in SANS, Usenet, ACM and IEEE publications, he is continually fixated on the problems of process integrity issues in Operations and Security. He is currently actively working on a series of projects with the Software Engineering Institute and Institute of Internal Auditors to capture how "best in class" organizations have Security, Operations, Audit, Management, and Governance working together to solve common objectives.
Mr. Kim holds a M.S. in computer science from University of Arizona and a B.S. in computer sciences from Purdue University.
